Relocation Information

BritishAmerican Business provides a number of services to help its member companies relocate their employees to the United States or the United Kingdom. These Services include:

Exchange Visitor Program (J1/WP2 Visa Information)

Through our J1 program, we provide a cost-effective way for our member companies to transfer qualified employees into the USA, with an expedited service. This is based on our authorization by the US Department of State to issue to qualified employees the Certificate of Eligibility necessary to secure a J1 Visa.

There are no age or nationality restrictions. However, non-British employees must either be a resident of the U.K. or already be employed by the applicant company.

The goal of the Program is to promote Anglo-American business exchange by proving educational and cultural opportunities in the U.S.

In the other direction, we can also help our member companies bring qualified employees into the UK by processing the TWES Permit (Training and Work Experience Scheme permit, WP2 Program) with a priority service, through our close working relationship with the Department for Education and Employment (DfEE).

Cross Atlantic Relocation Services (CARS)

BritishAmerican Business’s new CARS workshops allow member organizations to maximize investment in the relocation of employees by ensuring expatriates and their families are fully adjusted to the differences and challenges of working and living in either the US or the UK. BritishAmerican Business offers three different workshops on Cross Cultural Training to assist you or your employees in transatlantic relocation.
